What are some nice pant and dress styles for tall and lean women? Are empire dresses good for us, and what kind are?

re: shopgurl
Tall and lean women can get away with a lot of looks (hence why models are tall and lean). Empire dresses can look nice, just make sure they are an appropriate length, otherwise they can look silly and a bit too young looking (depending on your age). Taller women can work the wide-leg pants look pretty well without looking stumpy or frumpy. That said, they can work the skinny jeans too.
I suppose it depends on if there are things you would like to enhance or hide too (ie, big chest, no chest). Having that info would give me a better idea of what may work better for you.

i love when tall girls play with proportions....skinny pants and jeans, short skirts with tights that show off their legs, and longer cardigans- basically, i'm pretty much jealous of you tall girls :)

The trick is to style them well. For instance, pairing them with a flowy (note: non-fitted) top or tunic is a nice option for someone who maybe self-conscious about looking too small. Or, a bulkier sweater or something for colder weather.

re: eboneyowens
you have the perfect figure for them! it's all about proportions, with a skinnier bottom half you can definitely go all out and experiment with bulkier clothes on your top half like bimbi suggested- and you can also show off killer shoes better, and i think you like a thing for them :)
