I know my favorites shoes for summer are always flip flops!
During winter I always seem to wear flats or sneakers most.
What about you?

Boots, boots, boots!! I live in snow country USA (AKA, the midwest) so boots of all sorts are a must! This includes flat boots and heeled boots, and all of mine are taller (just below my knee)...cuz you know, 3 feet of snow can be difficult to maneuver through otherwise.

re: brittylew
We get a ton of snow here too and I still wear flats. I don't care if I fall, slip, or trip... I'm gonna look real cute doing it :). Faux Uggs are fabulous though...

re: brittylew
In the summer I wear flip-flops or sneakers for casual, but I feel a need to wear heels all the time. I have so many shoes I feel guilty not displaying them...hahaha. And for winter, boots, of course. I like them flat unless I'm dressing up a bit, because believe it or not we get a looot of snow in Jersey, too.

re: brittylew
Lucky me I get to live in Texas so the whole "seasons" thing alludes us. I try to stick with appropriate shoe for what season we should be in though. I used to live in Illinois, I was true to my Uggs!! I wore them to work, then changed when I got there. I'm with Bimbi on traipsing through the snow! I'm not a huge flip flop person for summer though, I prefer sandals.

BOOOTS!!! ankle boots, booties, knee-high, flat or chunky heeled- they keep your tootsies warm and are oh so functional, but look good too!

re: brittylew
i am trying to get into flat boots- i wear too high of heel but i am short but with winter coming i want to be able to walk in the rain and snow- i bought some riding boots, knee boots, motorcycle like boots this year that are great for fall and winter cause you can wear with jeans or skirt and put stockings and leg warmers underneath. i wanted to buy those peep hole boots that are all over but i chickened out- they look cool though. if someone has them i hope they post a picture on how they wear them

re: angrynoodle
flat boots are a god send, seriously. i'm new to them too but i cant imagine life without em now!
peep toe booties i dont know about, they kind of defeat the warmth purpose of boots....and i cant wear them in a business formal work place- so i won't be getting on that trend

re: dazzlin
yeh i agree i think the peep toe ones defeat the warmth issue... but they are cute :D

re: dazzlin
Ditto about the peeptoe booties. Just not very practical at all for me.
Ditto also about flat boots. I love my Gabriella Rocha ones I got last year so much that I wanna get them in black too (I have them in brown). There are some really cute suede ones at Urban that I am seriously desiring. They are well-priced...and they have neat colors!

re: Bimbi284
you know i bought some boots from urban this year and i loved them but i have one suggestion if you can get the shoe brand name look it up online cause sometimes dsw or another site like 6pm.com has the same shoe for like $10-$20 cheaper- i bought great boots from blowfish shoes at urban but found dsw was selling the same pair $10 cheaper and with coupon i could have saved another $10 and get free shipping *sigh sometimes it pays to shop around... but i cant complain too much i do like urban outfitters :P

re: brittylew
I am thinking of buying some black boots, like uggs this year, but the ecofriendly version. Any suggestion for boots on a budget?

re: stef42678
The usual places: Nordstrom Rack, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, etc.
Zappos.com is a good place to look for shoes. Urban Outfitters has a couple of suede flat boots at a decent price...
You can get Ugg-style boots pretty much anywhere now in pretty much any price range.

re: brittylew
I got a pair of Corso Como boots from Piperlime, they are phenomenal!! The leather is so nice, the shoes are so well made, and part of the price goes to charity, which I thought was cool. I really really like these boots, they're great. I would totally recommend that brand if you want some nice boots.

re: jenndouglass
Thanks for the tip, these sound like great shoes and I love that it benefits a charity too.

re: brittylew
I know they get much slack...but I absolutely <3 my UGG boots in the winter. I just love how they make my toes feel like I am snuggled in a blanket. I also love my black guess knee high black boots in the winter, so I can't wait for chilly weather so I can pull those babies out!
