I have the most fantastic vintage fur I inherited from a grandmother ... how the heck do I wear it? It's one of those fab 50s mink stoles ... the type that looks like a cape with long trailing pieces down the front. I also have a mink fur collar and am totally at a loss for how/where to wear these. Suggestions?

yes ivanabricher, post pics of these items. I would imagine wearing them like a shawl, or over your shoulder. maybe google some images on the fur and how to wear them. thats what I would do. Then post your pics here and let us fashinable and lovely gals comment/ help you out. :)

This piece will add a lot of glamour to your outfit. I would wear it over the shoulder for a night out.

I love it when fur is dressed down.

Try throwing it over a t shirt, skinny jeans, and ankle boots. (The color of the jeans would depend on the color of the fur)

You can also wear skinny jeans, socks, chunky heels, shirt tucked inside of the jeans with a belt, a black blazer, and the fur stole over.

As for the mink fur color, throw it over a plain white t shirt and jeans.

The key is to keep your outfit simple since the fur is a statement piece.
