re: stef42678
I'm seeing a lot of fringe on suede boots, for casual. For dress very high heels, not practical for walking or snow. It was very humid the other day and the young girls were wearing jeans tucked into boots,I had sandals on.

re: stef42678
As far as the must-haves for Fall (according to someone's list), you are ALL right.....definitely the fringe on boots, all types and colors....also on some handbags, for that Boho Chic look. Another big thing is these extremely high heeled pumps (the kind I can't even stand in)...they have "even raised the bar " for heel height to something ridiculous!
Florals are also big, as well as ANYTHING purple, or some shade of it. That is the "IT" color for fall, and further, I'm quite sure.
I just want to say "hi" to JAYMAN and debfree...I finally found you....have been here!

re: jenndouglass
WELCOME! write me at buddykov@rcn.com I will give you real e-mail and perhaps exchange phone #s. I have unlimited long distance. Tony uses the computer and has asked for the last hour to have it back. Poor guy having to put up with me!
So happy your here,no more chats on ideeli except about items. Some women there have attitude?
Have to tell Deb, she and I talked all weekend. We were playing Jewish geography but nothing except ocd for handbags in common, but that is plenty!
Ladies: jenndouglass defended me when a troll verbally attacked me on another web site. Even I have to admit it hurt a little but then realized if they really knew what they were talking about they wouldn't post about wanting to win the GUCCI handbag,to the point of begging. The women here are true ladies!
I even told Tony that my friends think I know so much and I have learned so much more here especially about makeup.
I'm sure you heard about the CUBS? Sox play tonight but so not the same.
You will be a great addition here!
LUCKY CAN WE GET STYLE POINTS FOR GETTING NON-FAMILY MEMBERS TO JOIN?

re: stef42678
OFF THE TOPIC again, for just a minute....how do I get my "actual" picture that is on "my page" I need to replace that....it is not a good one, my hair is even different, etc.), but it would be better than this "avitar" as Caryn always calls them!

re: stellamae
Who ever knows computer lingo is avitar the correct word or is "my age" showing? BIMBI HELP!

re: stef42678
this season some of the trends are so classic that they are excellent investment pieces: suede boots, purple with gray, yellow with gray, cardigans, skinny jeans, pearl strands, bright tights
a few that i think i'm going to forgo, like fringe, embellished leggings

re: dazzlin
No leggings for me unless major weight loss! I like fringe but I wore in the 60's,unwritten rule is if you wore it first time around you shouldn't wear now! I do love "BOHO CHIC" but may be to young of look for me.

re: stef42678
JAYMAN...I'm so with you...wore the leggings and the fringe back in the day...sometimes "what goes around can't come around"
I have to admit I'm in a fashion rut...the other day I watched a fashion show for women over 50 and almost cried, the clothes were do dowdy, I do want to look like a 20 year old but want clothes with some style on them...it's hard!

re: stef42678
I meant to say I don't want to try to look like a 20 year old....
