Does anyone know how to locate information regarding the attire that celebrities and models wear for print ads-primarily when the attire isn't the subject of the campaign ? I love the deep blue dress that Laila Ali is wearing in the latest 'Got Milk?' ad campaign. Celebs usually disclose whom they are wearing during red carpet events, but often times the ad campaigns are just as beautiful! Likewise, the ads for nail polishes show funky shoes and shoe ads show wicked dresses...and how about those CD covers that show our fave artists in show-stopping styles? I'm often able to guess the designer but Laila's knock-out style has me stumped.

hmmm - now there's an idea for co's to start doing - promote everything saleable in an ad - even if the item doesn't apply to the exact product being sold. I am wondering how that can help the actual co. paying for the ad...maybe getting kick-backs from the other things they promote in the ad. Sorry - i am not answering your question - bc i have no idea how you would find out that info (maybe google it or contact the co. that is putting the ad out?). - BUT you bring up an interesting topic/idea!

:-} Actually, I always Google many of the items and actually have luck in many instances--but your sarcasm isn't lost on me as I thought of the ad's purpose as well. Still, in this day and age, there's a web site for everything and I thought I'd try my luck. LOL...lucky me for Lucky Mag.

WhoWhatWear.com has a ton of great trends, etc. Not sure if they cover things used in ads, but they cover a lot of celebs and fashionistas. They also have a video podcast. Check it out!
