What's your opinion matching your lipstick to your outfit. If I wear a coral shirt do i need to wear coral lipgloss?

NO - NO - NO! You should never MATCH lipstick or eyeshadow or nail polish. Colors should first and formost go with you skintone, natural lip color and hair color. Now, on the other hand if you are wearing a coral shirt, because you've got STYLE, the color is obvious flattering for you, you can wear a coral lipgloss. Just Please, for me, don't MATCH it!

I don't like matching my color of lipstick to my outfit because then your makeup doesn't stand out. I like wearing soft pinks and corals, and sometimes these colors look great with a light blue top or another color, but never the same color.

Makeup should always compliment your features not an outfit. Work with what you have naturally and go for shades that compliment your hair, skin tone (most important!) and features.

If the coral lipgloss looks good on you, I say go for it! I know people say that you shouldn't match your makeup to your outfit, but I have to admit, I am guilty of doing this...and I LOVE it! Haha...I have hazel eyes, so I can wear greens, blues, purples, golds, browns, and black, and they all seem to work for me. Granted, I do choose subtle shades in those colors so its not too tragically matched and so they compliment my skin tone and hair color.
