Try Neutrogena Sesame Oil right after you shower - it's a great moisturizer and smells amazing!

Try Curel's new Motherhood moisturizer. I know it's for pregnant women, but it's AMAZING. My skin feels soft all day long, never greasy. It's worth a try and it's only about $6 a tube.

I live in the northeast and winters are so rough on my skin. I have tried every kind of moisturizer and found that Eucerin Plus intensive repair hand creme works great. Even though it is hand cream I use it on my entire body.

Have you thought about the facial cleanser you use? It could be drying your skin out. There's alot of moisturing cleansers out there that are gentler to the skin. Also wearing a night moisturing skin could help. As well as a moisturizing mask. Hope you got some good tips here!

I agree, your soap could be reall drying too...as well as any makeup you use. Trust me I have super dry skin and have tried everything. For my face what works is Oil of Olay sensitive. It's cheap and doesn't break me out either.

along with these other tips, try to make sure you home space has moisture in it. Also 1 question I always ask my clients when they ask me is "do you use HOT water when you shower?" If you can try luke warm water and there is no need for cleansers on arms and legs, the water is enough. Brushing your arms and legs with a body brush before showerin too, help slough off dead skin. A Sometimes in the winter I use a night moisturizer all day because my skin sucks it up.

The hot water really does dehydrate your skin. I've heard that showering at night instead of the morning is best for dry skin b/c you'll be less inclined to crank up the water temp. Also, put a good moisturizer on immediately after you get out of the shower after you pat dry. I love Kiehl's Creme de Corps moisturizer. It's very hydrating and non irritating without being greasy. It's also unscented. I've been told by my Doctor that Dove soap is the most gentle on skin. Hope this helps!

Please accept my apologies for the above post!
I think you should make sure you're properly exfoliating! Invest in a good body scrub. Consistent exfoliation will do the following for you:
- Improve the skin's ability to retain moisture
- Helps penetration/delivery of product ingredients into the skin
I hope this helped!

The best way is to cure this problem from the inside (holistic approach and treating your body as a wholesome system). Try some diet and you will see the results. If you want to have healthy skin that you have to think about what you put inside. Raw food diet is a possible solution. Read more on beautifulonraw.com. There are many useful tips.
