have any of you tried yoyo lip gloss? it's a line of lip glosses that comes with a retractable yoyo clip attachment so you can always have it accessible, it sounds silly, but i love clipping them on the edge of my purses- it makes finding them easier than digging through my purse
of course, i think they're designed with teen girls in mind- they're very cutesy and would make great holiday goodies, but they're a secret obsession of mine- next in line are those holiday lip glosses they have at gap kids, they're surprisingly perfect! and easy on the pocket :)

re: dazzlin
I am ALWAYS digging through my purse for my gloss...and my bag is not even that big! I still manage to loose stuff..ugh! Are they tinted at all or just more like a balm or clear gloss?
Also, where can I find them?? I think I need one haha.

re: Bimbi284
youll get a kick out of this from the case study report
"Since the average teen has a significant influence over household discretionary income and has personal discretionary income, the female teen has become a significant force in the cosmetics industry. Angie set her sights on the female tween, teen, and young adult segments, deciding to soft position YOYO Lip Gloss. She desires to target the teen population directly while also attracting the younger tween segments that tend to purchase products intended for older use and products purchased by their siblings. Later, she reasoned, YOYO Lip Gloss will expand into the young adult market segment using a more sophisticated version of the product – perhaps one featuring a Swarovski Crystaled reel."

re: dazzlin

there's tinted (Raisin' tha Roof Red anyone?) and clear too.
and if anyone is interested, this company is a new start up that's been a part of a big case study- it's so odd i've never seen anything like this before

re: Bimbi284
absolutely! now that im playing around on their website it seems even more ingenious- it seems like the perfect product to have right by the counter at a limited too or something
plus, i'm realizing how many times the only thing i've had with me is a cell phone and lip gloss- with the gloss jabbing me in the side from my jean pockets- i should have come up with this!!

I like the YOYO gloss for a shiny look and it is great for girls of any age because they have great colors and are fun too.

re: stef42678
Stef, have you actually tried them?
Posted 12/06/2008 at 08:07 AM
re: dazzlin
i like them because theyre not too sticky- i HATE sticky lip glosses- which is probably why i really have a thing for lipglosses marketed to tweens :)
Posted 12/06/2008 at 02:22 PM
re: dazzlin
LOL...so they're not too sticky, but do they last? I hate glosses that seem so great for about 15 minutes and then its like...where did it go?!?!

re: dazzlin
yeah dont care for the ones marketed for the teens, but I am always willing to try it if I get it for free. wink* wink** otherwise if I come out of pocket I do major research, and YES even on my lip gloss. lol

re: eboneyowens
Ditto eboney...I am VERY particular about my makeup, and lipgloss is a staple that has to be just right!
The ones that seem to work best for me are Lancome Juicytubes and Keihl's.

re: dazzlin
i just bought lancome juicy tubes for the first time and haven't tried em out yet, now i'm excited!
i was in the c.o.bigelow store the other day and also picked up their lemon lip tint, it was absolutely AMAZING on my winter lips- i think i must own 100 tubes of lip gloss at any time i can never get enough : )

re: dazzlin
Oooh which one did you buy??
I am starting to run low on my fave...I've been living off of samples from gifts-with-purchase...hehehe.
FYI: If you buy online at Lancome.com, they almost always have a gift with purchase...which totally rocks my world therefore leading to me never buying any Lancome anything in-store anymore :).
