hey girls,
i just got a gift certificate to e.l.f. (eyes lips face) and i've never tried their products before- any suggestions on things that are particularly nice? i'm honestly skeptical since their stuff is so cheap ($1 a product), i don't know if this reflects in their quality
any advice??! i'm dying to treat myself to something and place an order already!

I just heard about it recently and actually asked a similar question on here! You may wanna scroll through the beauty and wellness forum to see if you can find it.
Anyways, I tried their mineral powders. I got the concealer and the foundation, both in fair. They weren't even the same color, and one was too light, while the other was too dark. Buuuut, when mixed together, they were perfect! I also got the kabuki brush, which I like a lot.
If you are skeptical, try something simple like some lipgloss or an eyeshadow or something first so you can test quality.

WE talked about ELF in the nail polish forum too dazzlin. They have allot of great items that I use everyday such as: hypershine ligloss, shine eraser blotting sheets, nail polishs. Have fun shopping!! Also I am on the newsletter mailing list if you spend $25 get a free manicure set with promo code STOCKSSTUFF.

re: dazzlin
FYI: I got a $5 coupon for commenting on a blog on their site! (Eboney I think you may have been the one that told me they did this). Anyways, with that, I purchased some liquid eyeliner (Its a staple of mine, I figure I oughta try theirs!), some eyeshadow applicator sponges (they work better for me than brushes), and some individual false lashes...just cuz I've always wanted to try them haha. For only $1, I'm willing to at least give it a shot!

you have the idea bimbi!! Even if you dont care for there make up or nail polish or pip sticks/glosses. you can ALWAYS use an extra package of sponge applicators, brushes, faulse eye lashes, stuff like that.

re: dazzlin
Personally I love their eyelashes, not so much a fan of the glue, but for a dollar a pair I can get over that very quickly. Also their eyelash curler is a very good product. I've heard good things about the brushes/applicators, but never tried them yet.

I just bought their individual lashes to try them out (for $1, why not?) I read the reviews, so I see the glue isn't so good, but I have othe lash glue I could use. I'll let you know once I try them!
