Has anyone been?

I had the signature pedicure at the Gansevoort location yesterday and at best I'd rate it only as "average"... I was a little disappointed after reading about it in all the glossies (Allure, Vogue, Instyle, etc). The polish selection was minimal, the decor looks worn down or like it needs to be upgraded and the nail techs looked sloppy and uncomfortable (they wear old jeans and white t-shirts as a uniform). The pedicure itself left a lot to be desired and my nail tech didn't give me a leg/foot massage! Oh and they use rolled tissue as toe separators- hmmmm.....

I will say that my nail tech perfectly polished my toes and I bought the Killa Red nail polish and the Citrus Exfoliating Body Wash (which they used as my foot scrub) to try at home. The staff was nice.

I think the concept is great, but somewhat overrated. Any thoughts?
