Hi - does anyone have a fool-proof method on how to prevent lip-gloss from bleeding into the cracks of your lips? Please share!

Duwop has an incredible reverse lip liner. It's a wax stick that you run across your lips before you put on the gloss. It works SO incredibly well!

re: Stylicious
I usually put on a chapstick before my lipstick or lipgloss and it seems to do the trick. Look for a lipgloss that isn't so liquidy and it should solve the problem.

I'm not a big lip liner fan but if you have bleeding problems, it does help. If you get a nude color liner and gently fill in the ENTIRE lip (lightly)-now the trick- put a tissue over your lips and powder - then gloss. There are a few long lasting glosses that has a long lasting color w/a gloss over it. I'm not sure how they work (I never tried them) but they might they might be worth a try.

I am a chapstick fanatic, so use it as a base to any lip gloss or lipstick.

re: Stylicious
When i do my makeovers for customers, we use either Smashbox's lip primer (better with lipsticks though), which is double-sided with an eyeshadow primer or Two Faced's Borderline, which is a matte colorless lip pencil that you place on the the lip line and outside of it. While it helps so that your lipstick/gloss doesn't bleed, it'll also help to plump your lips in the process, giving your lips a fuller look.

re: Stylicious
Laura Geller also makes a great lip primer (that comes with an eye primer too) but like most primers work best with lipstick.

I line my lips and fill them in with a nude lipliner and then add lipgloss
