Hey everyone!
I'm a bit of a vintage lover, and was curious to hear about your favorite or best vintage finds.
One of my favorites is a baby blue button-up western style shirt that I bought for $5 at a thrift store when I was 12...I still wear it regularly (and I'm almost 25!).
Another and more recent find is a beautiful star-shaped brooch I bought for $8. I plan on turning it into a hair accesory to wear for my wedding.
What about you??

I was married in a knee length black velvet skirt. swingy a-line style skirt. I love it. I hated how i looked on my wedding day or else I'd post pics. My blouse buttons kept popping open and my brassiere was exposed on occasion. Talk about embarrassing. The skirt I bought at a local super thrift store for $5. I LOVE thrifting!
I bought a vintage blue trench coat off ebay once but sadly it was just a shy too small on me. I found a new home for it though.
I scored an old Christian Dior trench for my husband but he is rough with his coats and it was in ruined within a year. It was only $15.

I love finding vintage shirts at stores because they add so much to your outfit and are great with a pair of jeans.

vintage blazers hands down- the fabrics, colors, cuts are so much more interesting- i just have to be careful to avoid picking up shoulder-padded monstrosities!

I need to start thrifting! Where do you go? I went to some vintage stores when I lived in Chicago, but I don't know where to go now that I'm not there. Do you go to consignment shops, or goodwills and salvation army places? I'm not sure there are good enough "hand-me-downs" here?! I'll have to check it out. How's the online scene?

I'm in the same predicament. There's only a Goodwill locally, and though I go often to peruse, I never find anything worth buying. A consignment shop that was pretty good closed up last year, so any quality second-hand stuff is hard to find. I guess I need to go up to NYC, Philly, or check online...

One of the girls on here has a site called vintagefabulous.com... but I think something happened! It does not work anymore and it was such an awesome site! I hope she is ok!

Hey Ruthem,
From what I understand, she was taking some time off of running the site in order to go back to school. In the meantime, check out her links, she's got some good stores listed that I've checked out!
