If you're like me, you're broke. On the rare occasion I get to treat myself I am so giddy. After all I am a huge clothes umm..ho? :) I lust after Jimmy Choo's and for anything Betsey Johnson. I do however am able to afford stylish clothes at a fraction of the cost of big name designers. Plus it just grates my nerves that someone will charge 400 effing dollars for a pair of heels.
So where do you go on a budget? My personal favorites are Forever 21 and Delia*s. Although Delia*s is rather pricey for me but I've been a loyal customer since i was 16. At my part time after school job (McDonald's uck) I'd blow my paychecks on Delia*s. Unfortunately their styles aren't as original and unique as they use to be. God sometimes I miss the 90's.
I've sworn off ebay after being ripped off several times. I am a thrift store junkie. Budget-conscious boutiques are becoming more popular and it's great.
So what are your favorite affordable boutiques or websites?

i do really well at some mall chain stores when i get myself out to jersey to visit a mall- the limited, express, new york & co-- their pickings used to be better in the 90s, but despite the options being less on point, the prices are soooo not to be beat during sale seasons!

I've been wanting to check out NY&C which is at a mall near by. I pee through the windows and see some items I like. I have a birthday coming up so maybe I can go soon. ;D

I go to TJMaxx and Marshalls because I know I will get the same thing for cheaper, and Banana Republic has great sales. I was in Forever 21 the other day and I found some nice sweater. I want to go to Thrift store and see what they have, I have never been but my friend tells me she always finds great things over there.

YESS TJ Maxx and Marshalls is a MUST...It can sometimes be a pain to sift throught the mounds of crap (some stores are worse than others), but if you are determined, it is so worth it. They often have Betsey stuff (Betseyville bags and the Betsey perfume mostly) at the one near me. Nordstrom Rack is another fave of mine, and you are guaranteed some designer stuff there. H&M is a godsend, as is Francesca's, which has a website. Another site I have recently discovered is Modcloth.com. VERY cute stuff.
I always hit up J.Crew, Gap, and BR for their sales as well...rarely do I buy anything full price at any of those.

Old Navy for basics...they have ridiculous prices sometimes, like $5 for a t-shirt. Cotton is cotton, I'll take it. Nothing special, of course, but it serves a purpose.
H&M for more trendy things.
TJMAXX/Marshall's for bags and shoes.

I really love Nordstroms Rack and Ann Taylor Loft for dressy clothes, because you get the great style at really good prices.
