Forever 21, h&m, and wet seal are some that offer relatively cheap good looking clothes.

Kohls always has a sale going on...not the best quality all the time, but I can always find a dress there when I need one! If you know someone who works there ask for a friends & family coupon.

If your lucky enough to have a store like Marshall's, TJ Maxx, Filene's Basement or Daffy's in your mall it is a must to check it out. You will be surpised what you find.. I have found everything from a tahari dress for under $30 bucks to a pair of dkny leather boots for $20 bucks. Also my all time fave is a pair of levi's skinny jeans that i bought from Marshall's for 16l99... if i could wear them everyday I would.. i always stop in everytime i see one just in case.. its like a treasure.. u never know what u may find.. shop often.. buy sparingly...

i agree with you on finding great stuff in all these stores you mentioned.....another good one is Burlington Coat factory....i bought a Jessica simpson bag at macy's on sale but they had it even cheaper at burlington....learned my lesson...i now pass by them first when i need/want something.
Also...Nordstrom semi or annual sale are great too either online or at the store.

If you shop Macy's clearance racks and their sales you can find really great buys.

Kohls, Macy's (clearance) , rainbow, Mandee's (mine has a $1.99 rack!) , Steve & Barry's .. I don't need clothes, so I wait for things I like to go on sale and always head right twards the clearance racks, just glancing at the other items I'd like to go on sale.

TJMaxx, Marshalls, Ross, Burlington Coat Factory-all great places to find bargains. Tahari, BCBG, DKNY, Calvin Klein etc. I find fabulous handbags at TJMaxx; clearance costume jewelry and home decor at Burlington Coat Factory; I also have found some amazing sterling silver jewelry at TJMaxx. Sometimes I even find some favorite beauty products at bargain prices at Marshalls or TJMaxx. While living in Northern Virginia, one of my favorite mall stores was H&M. When I made a trip to New York City I had to shop in the H&M there. I would buy things like scarves and layering pieces at inexpensive prices. I also like to stop in at Nordstrom Rack and check it out every once in a while. I would look for fun, eye-catching things there like blouses, shirts, and coats. In Denver we have a store called Loehmanns. It is similar to a Nordstrom Rack. I found one of my all-time favorite purchases there-a coat that I can't even begin to describe. It was a splurge at $80 but is totally amazing. I also found one of my favorite pefumes by Fendi for only $13.

This is no surprise, because several have mentioned it, but TJMaxx is wonderful for handbags. You have to go through a bunch of unattractive things, but there are often good buys on simple knit tops and sometimes on jeans or pants. My favorites are Thalian and Tahari. I am generally frustrated if I am looking for a suit or a blazer. I just went to Macy's. I was amazed at all the 80% of sales, but couldn't find anything I wanted on those racks.
