So my friend Britt and I had a blast scouring the clearance rack at a local Dots boutique. I had b-day cash on me and was yearning to update my overflowing wardrobe...I'm doing a major overhaul and getting rid of anything I do not wear. It's tough, I'm known to hoard clothes like crazy...I bought a black/white sweater vest for $5. A really cute summer dress for a $1. A black button up blouse w/belt for $9 and scored a red leopard print vest for $15. Ok the vest wasn't on sale but at $15? I had to have it. I also picked up a couple summer dresses as Xmas presents for a couple girlfriends. So I'm super happy and got an Old Navy gift card to burn too. My 20's may be numbered but I don't care. :D

Dots is a discount boutique that sells trendy clothing at very reasonable prices. They always have cute styles. I'm dying to wear my leopard vest. Cannot wait to show it off.

I love a bargain...as we all do! Now seems to be the time to hit the racks, right before Christmas. And I'm willing to bet they'll look even better on the other side of the holidays!

No doubt! I've seen various places have some really, really good sales. I've seen a lot of leftover summer stuff marked way down. Some items like tank tops and such can go over into winter. I only have a hundred boy-style tanks.

In the new issue of Lucky I saw the add for Thakoon doing bikinis for Target...that sent my head spinning. It's not even Christmas yet and you're hawking your summer wares to me?! Crazy! Let the sweaters and boots have their time...

Yeeeah..that was odd to me. It's like seeing Xmas stuff out in September. Once fall hits, I'm excited to break out my old favorites and the same with summer. I try to get the enjoyment out of them before their time is up.
