Do you use Neutrogena products (skincare, cosmetics or hair care)? What are your favorites and why?

re: gina
The only thing I use is the "On The Spot" acne treatment. I rarely have a problem, but any time I do, putting that on over night gets rids of it by the next morning. And it's inexpensive...you can't beat it.

I use their Gentle Facial Cleanser. I actually like it better than the Lancome Ablutia cleanser I used to pay big $$$ for!

re: gina
I love Neutrogena products because they are great for your skin. I use the face wash all the time and they make really good foot and hand lotions that make your skin so soft.

I use neutrogena facial cleanser every morning in the shower. :) Works like a charm! I also love the neutrogena anti-aging formula. I'm only 25 but its never to early to fight wrinkles!

re: gina
I have two favorites from the Neutrogena brand that I use daily, I use their alcohol free toner, it does not dry it my face like other brands that have alcohol in them. I have been using this for a while now and I''m very happy with it. The other product that I use is the oil free eye makeup remover, I use it cause I wear contacts and I do put mascara on and I have found that the the Neutrogena eye makeup remover is really gentle on my eyes, does not burn or make my contacts blurry nor my eyes watery. I keep my 'contacts in while taking my makeup off. It's also good if you use waterproof mascara. Above everything I wrote, I love these two products and I use them daily in my beauty routine.

re: Farrielle2
I agree these are great products. Neutrogena is expensive, but they are high quality products.

re: stef42678
I actually don't consider them that expensive. I mean, when you compare it to department store brands, or even some "convenience" store or supermarket brands, its obviously cheaper or equally priced (vs other supermarket/convenience brands). I agree that the quality of the products are fabulous, and I have never had any complaints about any neutrogena product I have used. You certainly get more bang for your buck!

I use the neutrogena oil-free acne wash pink grapefruit foaming scrub. The packaging is pretty pink and it also smells soo good! I love anything that smells like grapefruit and it's a nice refreshing feeling to wash your face with a scent that I love. It's a great scrub, I recommend it.

I am a big fan of the neutrogena sunless tanning lotion! It doesn't look too orangey like other products I've used in the past. ;)

Thanks everyone for your response! What about Neutrogena cosmetics, specifically? Do you use any of their lipsticks or gloss, foundation, powder, eyeshadow, mascara, eye liner or blush?

re: gina
I used a Neutrogena blush a long time ago after having a bit of an accident with my usual brand (it was dropped and crumbled everywhere). I was in a blush crisis so I ran to Walgreen's and decided to go with a Neutrogena blush that seemed to be the closest to the color I had been using. I really liked it, the color went on well and lasted. It didn't irritate my sensitive skin or cause a breakout, and it blended wonderfully with my other makeup products.

re: gina
I had a look in my makeup bag, no I don't think I had ever tried any makeup, what I discovered in my makeup bag is that I have one of those on the spot acne treatment tube in case of emergency. I have never had acne but I do get once in a while a visitor called mr. pimple , I use the on the spot on the pimple at night and it makes it go away in 2 days.

re: gina
I used to use their tinted moisturizer and really loved it. Here lately though I've switched to brands that only use natural ingredients. I'm currently mulling over the whole organic issue as well.
I have been curious about their lip glosses though; and now that I've declared that, I'll have to try one. A friend of mine swears by a shimmery pink Neutrogena lipgloss and it looks fabulous. She buys them three at a time.

re: gina
I use Neutrogena healthy volume mascara, because it doesn't clump or smudge and it really plumps my lashes. It's now my favorite mascara!

re: gina
I actually avoid any type of conventional cosmetics and use organic ones only. I have a science degree in hair and skin biology and my past studies also included cosmetic chemicals. So after knowing about all the irritants, carcinogens and simply drying agents I don't want to use them any more :)
I wrote a few reviews at makeupalley :http://makeupalley.com/p~Marlenchen

re: Emi
Just as a side note, completely off topic: Marlenchen reminds me of that creepy Juniper tree story...ohhh, gosh I might have a nightmare. (No offense if that is your name.)

re: gina
I never heard this one. It is my dogs name actually cute for "Marlene", its German. People tend to think my name is Marlen Chen :D, maybe I should change it.

re: gina
Oh, well I knew you were from Germany...it's a Brother's Grimm story so I thought you'd know it. It's pretty horrific and the sister who is made to believe she killed her brother is named Marlenchen. But yeah, that's kinda dark for a fashion forum...haha, sorry, guys!

re: gina
It is of course named different in Germany but I stil don't recognize any of the storyline. Might be a not so popular one ;)
