Hmmm...so in the denim transformation contest, I'm assuming some mods picked those three. As opposed to going with the top voted. Interesting...and actually probably a better idea in that case!

What amazes me is how someone wearing an ordinary, everyday look beat out other looks that were relevant to the contest theme.

Voting contests are a real pain in the butt because they end up being more about how popular the ENTRANT is than how good the actual entry is. Plus those entrants with huge friend, family, co-worker, and social-group connections end up FLOODING the voting ranks to get their win. I think all the entries were cool, but we'll never know which ones people actually thought were the best ones, because a large majority of the voters were voting for the entry of a friend, etc. rather than the look itself.
