I have heard so much news of twitter. Is it helpful if you don't have internet on your phone?

You can update from your phone whether it's internet-ready or not and also update on the site itself from your computer. I used to update on my old Razr before I got my iphone. Iphone has several apps that are compatible with Twitter. It's pretty addicting.

Thanks mrsrpd for the info. I am kind of behind the times and don't have a cell phone to follow twitter, but I could use it on my computer. Is it worth it to check out with just a computer?

I'm with you, Bimbi-- and not just unnecessary, but annoying! I refuse to jump on the bandwagon. Facebook is enough!

It's moments like this that make me glad I'm on Twitter. Following Trent Reznor of NIN, love that man. His most recent tweet, "Made a rare public outing last night. 5 different people approached me (all male) and said "nice app!" However, it was really loud and I thought they were all saying "nice ASS". Threw me off my game for a minute." I lol'd so much. Other than the occasional amusing tweets, I use it with friends. I hated it at first but gave it a chance, it's not so bad. :)
