Description

Wow. It. Is. Cold. After waking up way late and chilly I had to think fast on what I was going to throw together. I knew I wanted to wear tights, so I doubled up with two pairs of thick, opaque, black pairs. Black skirt- check. Boots- check. Then layering up the sweaters for optimum warmth. I’m mad for scarves all winter long (ditto for hats and gloves). This is another example of something I’d throw on when I have no time (running half hour + late), i.e.- everyday wear. Also check out the belt— sometimes belts are too big when you want to wear them at both your hips and your waist. No problem— just slide the metal tongue to the side and pull tight!

I had the same problem with my belt this morning. I took a screw and hammer to it. I am stealing my dad's belt hole punch next time I am at the Rents house. They really do not cost that much to buy. I dig the all black. My go to when in a hurry.

I agree you look great and all the colors are in harmony! I like the idea of layering tights!

I like it...you use colors in a very non-conventional way without being over the top. (Black/tan/white/red isn't what a lot would go for but it works for you!)
