Although it was only about 3 degrees F when I took this picture, I’ve had this outfit in mind for a while for my birthday. Its all sorts of fun with the pretty 1950’s sheer lacey top and the black and lurex striped skirt (which I hemmed that morning). I finally bought some purple tights so on they went. I love this outfit, but I really loved spending the day with my family and how they went to a lot of work to make it feel special (and thanks for all of the kind birthday wishes from my tumblr and interwebs friends!!)
