tera, you are somewhat right about the shimmering, the thing that is so much different about henna compared to chemical dye, is that the color is somewhat translucent and it still lets your natural color facettes and highlights shine through. I like it much better than the opaque chemical color I used to get (had to grow it out, so much work for years)
