Description
This is just one version of a dress I like a lot. It has a V-shaped neckline that ens at a waistline that can be tied in the back, the bottom is flowy and feminin. For colder season I like pairing it with darker colors. For this combination I layered a black dress under it. The black dress is just slightly longer but has a similar shape, it has a tulle overlay which makes the whole thing a little dressy. The neckline is straight with lace details that peek out to add some detail. To make the whole thing more casual for the city I added a black, fine wool cardigan and a tailored jean jacket. Now all there is to do is add accessories such as a thin black leather belt, a black pearl neacklace (onyx beads!), matching purse (here FOSSIL monogram satchel) and a scarf of your choice. I chose to go with a different color so the look is not too monotone, at the same time the scarf still sort of matches because of the black details. This picture was taken in fall so I paired this outfit with black opaque tights (very thin wool) and black peeptoes that I found at a turkish bazaar.

Cute!!

I don't live in a cold climate, so for me, a fine line of "layered" and "overly layered a la Lucky" has been crossed. With so many layers I wouldn't be able to move my torso.

I love how you put this together. When I see girls like you walking by, I always want to run up and try to convince you to take me shopping- You've obviously got a fantastic eye for what works, and I could use the help!
