I saw these: http://www.forever21.com/product.asp?catalog_name=FOREVER21&category_name=promo_lace&product_id=2071454013&Page=1 on a shopping blog and thought they were kinda cute, but I fear that if I were to wear such lacy short-shorts it would look like I was trotting around in my skivvies. Opinions?

I got some great inexpensive red leather gloves with cashmere lining from TJ Maxx, they tend to have a lot of good brands for pretty reduced prices.

Cute tank, but how is this corsetry at all? It doesn't have any corset-like elements to it.

To be honest, it isn't worth the effort to go back and fix it. I just used the "imbed link" function in the rich formatting for comment submission, so the issue is probably there.

Here is one of my excursions in the jacket: <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/22848814@N08/3672979542/" title="06-23-09 - Essen - Cloister by victoria_a_valdes, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3310/3672979542_f53e25df9d_b.jpg" width="1024" height="765" alt="06-23-09 - Essen - Cloister" /></a> I'm wearing linen pants and orange loafers.

Thanks for the suggestions ladies! I ended up taking it to my research trip in Germany and lo and behold practically every chic woman in this town (Cologne) is sporting a denim jacket of some sort. I ended up pairing...

Hello! I'm in need of advice for a spur-of-the-moment purchase, a really great-fitting denim blazer. I almost never find jackets that fit me in the shoulders, so when I tried one on and it fit (and looked very flattering) I...

/unhappily awaiting the inevitable combination of skinny with high-waisted. I remember as a kid, my mom would wear skinny, high waisted jeans-- she wasn't much overweight, but they gave her a real jean-pooch, especially when she sat down. No Thank...

I totally agree. I'd put leggings squarely into the 20-and-under category. And I definitely sported them with my paint splattered hi-tops and denim vests in the 80's!

How are you keeping it covering the ladies? Tape?

What's the brand-- it's adorable.

This photo looks straight out of a Film Noir.

LOVE you design on this skirt! You should think about selling these on Etsy!

Fantastic color choice, it really pops against the fall foliage!

This may be just a bit of a denim overload.

Hot tights, I'd go with a coat that conforms more to your curves. This one looks a bit bulky.

So cute! I wish I could see what your shirt looks like. From what I can see though, it looks like a sweet, fun casual outfit.

I'd also like to see more dress.

Is that a culotte? You are adorable but a flat front A-line skirt would do so much more for your figure!

I can see what you're going for here but I think that the tiny pattern on the skirt and the one on the leggings are a little too much. Also, you could totally work a bright bag with this outfit....

Great pairing of the sheer scarf with the tough vest and crochet! Really works.

Like most of my looks, it's not intended to be SERIOUS BUSINESS fashion. The combination of the rabbit shirt and rabbit ears could be construed as a joke.

The suit says "serious business" but the ruffles say "I'm sexy at heart!" I would wear this suit with some higher heels, though, for the full effect.

You are totally right. I walked all day that day so I changed into flip-flops to avoid massive blistering, but they really do bring a great outfit down.
